The ACR122U-A9 is the latest NFC Reader, designed as a PC-connected contactless smart card reader/writer based on 13.56 MHz Contactless (RFID) Technology. It adheres to the ISO/IEC18092 standard for Near Field Communication (NFC), offering compatibility with not only MIFARE and ISO 14443 IC TYPE A and B cards but also all four types of NFC tags.
The ACR122U-A9 supports both CCID and PC/SC, making it a straightforward plug-and-play USB device that seamlessly works with various devices and applications. With impressive access speeds of up to 424 kbps and a full USB speed of up to 12 Mbps, the ACR122U-A9 can read and write data swiftly and efficiently. Its proximity operating distance extends up to 5 cm, depending on the specific contactless tag in use.
For enhanced security, the ACR122U-A9 can be integrated with an ISO 7816-3 SAM slot. Additionally, this NFC Reader is available in a modular form, facilitating its integration into larger machines, including POS terminals, physical access systems, and vending machines.
