Description
The BT-100U cash drawer trigger lets you connect a cash drawer directly to a computer's USB port, without needing a POS printer or cash register. It acts like a USB to serial converter, making the cash drawer appear as a standard serial port to the POS software. This allows the software to communicate with the cash drawer as if it were connected to a serial port. Each BT-100U has a unique serial number, and the driver software automatically assigns it to the next available serial port. You can use multiple BT-100U triggers on a single computer. The device is powered by the USB connection and doesn't need an external power source. It supports plug-and-play, which means you can connect or disconnect it while the computer is running.
