The Rubik RB160EG is a tall, freestanding steel safe designed for home and office use where a large storage volume is required. At 160cm in height, it accommodates full-size A4 document folders, laptops, tablets, cameras, cash, jewelry, and other valuables across 3 removable carpeted shelves and 1 dedicated key-lock compartment.
Access is via an electronic digital keypad with a programmable 3-8 digit code, with 2 emergency override keys supplied for backup access. The door is secured by 7 live locking bolts and 3 dead bolts, with invisible hinges on the interior side of the door.

Lock and Access
Digital keypad: The electronic keypad accepts a user-programmed PIN of 3 to 8 digits. The keypad has an LED indicator that confirms input and access status. The code can be changed by the owner at any time following the programming procedure in the manual.
Emergency key override: Two physical keys are supplied with the unit. These keys operate a separate key lock on the door and provide access if the PIN is forgotten or the batteries are depleted before replacement.
Interior Layout
The interior is 320 litres (11.3 cubic feet), suitable for storing full-size A4 document folders in an upright position. Three removable shelves divide the interior into sections. Each shelf is carpeted to protect stored items from scratching. The floor of the interior is also carpeted. One dedicated internal compartment is secured with a separate key lock, providing a secondary layer of separation for high-value items within the safe.
Items that fit include: A4 document folders, laptops up to 15 inches, tablets, passports, cheque books, cash bundles, cameras, watches, jewelry, and hard drives.
Construction and Security
The body is constructed from solid steel with a black powder-coat finish described as fire-resistant. The door is fitted with 7 live locking bolts and 3 dead bolts. The hinges are concealed on the interior side of the door, preventing hinge pin removal from outside. The handle is stainless steel. The exterior corners and trim are finished in silver.
Mounting
The safe has 4 pre-drilled anchor holes - 2 on the back panel for wall mounting and 2 on the bottom panel for floor mounting. This allows the unit to be bolted in place to prevent removal. Mounting hardware and wall surface compatibility should be confirmed based on installation location.
Power
The keypad operates on 4 x AA alkaline batteries. Battery life depends on frequency of use. The LED indicator on the keypad will signal low battery before full depletion. Emergency key access is available as a backup if batteries run out.
