Description
Protect tall and exposed structures with the Rubik Low Intensity Aviation Obstruction Light (LIOL), featuring a red CREE LED with USA origin. Choose steady or flashing operation, with the flashing mode producing 30 flashes per minute.
Solar power and simple power selection
Solar powered with a built in 3.7 V, 8 Ah lithium battery. A power switch button lets you select battery power or direct 220 V power. The 2.5 W, 5 V solar panel charges the battery when installed with adequate sunlight.
Best use cases
Aircraft warning for power transmission towers, telecommunications towers, microwave sites, chimneys at thermal power, coking and chemical plants, high rise buildings, large bridges, port machinery, heavy construction equipment and wind turbines. Confirm the required obstruction light type and installation with the project engineer and relevant aviation authority.

Installation and care
Install with a flange in a location with adequate sunlight. The supplied manual describes a light control function that begins flashing below the preset ambient light threshold. To test this function in daylight, cover the solar panel. For storage longer than six months, the manual recommends exposing the product to sunlight for three days to fully charge the battery. The manual recommends replacing the battery regularly, with annual replacement suggested. Avoid organic solvents on PC components because they may cause damage. Handle the bird-repellent tip carefully because it is sharp.
