Description
Writable contactless dual-chip RFID smart card operating at 13.56 MHz. The card contains an FM1208 CPU10 secure microcontroller chip (about 7K user area) plus a separate 1K M1/Classic-compatible memory chip. It supports ISO/IEC 14443-A communication. The CPU chip is intended for secure applications (e.g., encrypted authentication, multi-application card OS use depending on the system), while the 1K M1 chip provides compatibility with Classic/S50 readers. Supplied blank and can be written/encoded with authorized 13.56 MHz readers that support FM1208 CPU cards and/or M1 Classic cards. Suitable where one card must work with both CPU-based and M1-based systems.
